Nike

Nike is an American multinational company that produces sportswear and shoes. Founded in 1964 by Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman. Originally called Blue Ribbon Sports, specializing in the usual sale of sneakers. The first batch of 300 pairs was purchased from Japanese Asics. The company did not limit itself to this and began ordering sneakers of its own design. The first successful model was the Cortez, developed by Bowerman in 1968. In 1971, after the rebranding, the company was named Nike and acquired its corporate logo-the Swoosh checkmark. The first sneakers in the new incarnation are Nike Moon.
