Nike will expand the Terrascape sneaker series with a third model — Air Max 97 “Terrascape”, combining upgraded versions of Air Max 90 and Air Max Plus in the silhouette.
They have a one-piece mesh upper enclosed in an overlay shell that mimics the original lines of Christian Tresser’s design. Its overlock stitching runs along the midline, with reinforced mudguards, open mesh panels in the middle and hidden waves in the upper half of the top.
Traditionally located Swooshes are not on the middle panel, but on the side, on the ankle. The medal is made of recycled Nike Grind rubber, plus the Terrascape branding on the tongue, sole, heel and variegated insole completes the design.
The exact release date of the Nike Air Max 97 “Terrascape” has not yet been announced, but it is expected that the crosses will appear on Nike.com in the near future.
