Edison Chen from CLOT is once again teaming up with Nike to release a special collection of sneakers in 2022 — CLOT x Nike Dunk High.
The sneakers have a glossy silver metallic upper paired with a white dotted insole, a perforated sock and an open stitch over the entire surface. CLOT and Nike branding, as well as branded insoles with white rubber soles complete the design.
For the latest collaboration with Nike, CLOT founder and creative director Edison Chen drew inspiration from the Yin-Yang philosophy of fluidity and harmony, urging everyone to embrace change and harmony of the present and the future. The result is a pair of phenomenal-looking Flux Dunk sneakers wrapped in a spectacular lenticular design.
The concept of fluidity is then expressed in a mesmerizing lenticular design that extends throughout the shoe, creating an optical illusion that works at any angle. Meanwhile, the tongue switches between the CLOT and Nike logos in motion, making it the highlight of the creation. To preserve the futuristic, otherworldly appeal, fabric overlays, including the iconic Swoosh, were replaced with complementary stitching before being completed with a clean white sole and matching laces to bring all the elements together.
Release date of CLOT x Nike “Flux Dunk”
The CLOT x Nike “Flux Dunk” will go on sale on March 18, 2022 at the Juice Store and online. The official cost of the pair will be $150. The release date on the SNKRS platform has not yet been announced.
