Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic has been receiving special versions of Jordan performance sneakers for several seasons. As part of the agreement with the brand, Doncic will now be able to get his own, named Jordan Luka 1 model. It is reported that the first colors will be released in 2022.
Jordan Luka 1 is expected to be officially unveiled by the summer of 2022. Several colors of sneakers will be released on the market at once, which you can buy this year. Also, the name Jordan Luka 1 has not yet been officially confirmed. Sneakers are also mentioned under the SlyFox naming, but most likely Jordan will stop at a more logical name.
UPDATE 27.04.22. Jordan Brand officially presented the first named basketball sneakers for Luka Doncic, Jordan Luka 1. This pair is designed taking into account the unusual specifics of Luke’s game, his speed and movements. The sneakers offer the IsoPlate system with full-size Formula 23 performance foam in the midsole.
IsoPlate is a kind of frame that wraps around the front of the foot and protects the player during jumps and sudden movements back and forth. Formula 23 foam, in turn, provides an easy, responsive move and helps the player to move forward while moving from side to side and using stepbacks, eurosteps, crossovers and in tight protection. The breathable Flightwire threads on the side of the top also hold the foot.
