The release date of the long-awaited collaboration of the Japanese motorcycle company Kawasaki and adidas Originals has become known. The sneakers are inspired by the iconic Kawasaki Ninja sports bike. The capsule includes light-colored ZX 8000 sneakers and a darker-colored ZX 5K Boost.
The former are distinguished by a upper made of white perforated kangaroo leather with overlays of green Kawasaki leather, inserts of blue leather and stylized “Ninja” embroidery on the sides. The latter have a similar design, but with a black mesh base, black and reflective TPU overlays, green accents and Boost cushioning wrapped in a translucent ripstop.
Both pairs come with alternating electroplated laces and metal laces in the style of a license plate. Branded boxes show a printed image of the newest Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R.
The Kawasaki x adidas Originals pack will go on sale on April 14 on the official website adidas.com all over the world. The ZX 5K Boost will cost $160 and the ZX 8000 will cost $120.
