Perhaps one of the most anticipated works for fans of the brand in 2021 was the Stone Island collaboration with New Balance. The sneakers were officially announced in March last year and were expected in October. But it didn’t work out. The release will finally be released and it will happen in the summer of 2022.
Reseller Stone Island is known for its innovative methods in creating fashionable streetwear clothing and shoes and now brings its experience to the advanced New Balance 1300 sneakers as part of its Tokyo Studio initiative.
Stone Island polished the classic color scheme of the fashionable model, using a mesh top of light steel blue and torn overlays of a light brown shade, using a modern deconstructed look.
In this issue, Stone Island abandoned its famous large logo in the form of a compass in the front of the foot, instead applying New Balance mirror motifs. Joint branding is present only on the insoles, leaving the appearance without any vendor identifiers.
The release date of Stone Island x New Balance RC Elite “1300JP” has not yet been determined, but it is expected that the sneakers will be released soon. In the meantime, enjoy the first and exclusive photos of the release below.
