New Balance presented new branded Kawhi Leonard – Kawhi 2 – sneakers in collaboration with the famous Goosebumps franchise, which produces children’s books in the thriller and horror genre.
New Balance gave the basketball player complete freedom and he was able to embody his childhood emotions from Goosebumps books in basketball sneakers.
Goosebumps x New Balance Kawhi 2 have an upper with a combination of black, orange and green. The joint branding is highlighted in green, and the shade itself symbolizes slime from horror books and movies.
The sneakers are equipped with a FuelCell midsole with a full-length functional plate for stability during running and jumping. The upper is made using Kinetic Stitch technology and provides support where it is needed most.
Goosebumps x New Balance Kawhi 2 will appear on the official website newbalance.com April 20 at a retail price of $140.
